Mayor
Dear everyone,

We are getting mixed signals about the weather this weekend so please check below for updates on what is actually going to happen!  As always, for information abut the goings on in the Village take a look at the Destination Hastings webpage HERE and Facebook pages HERE, or scroll down for more information.

Meet the Fleet: Today, October 16th from 10 am to 1 pm (see HERE), you can meet our Fire Department, tour their trucks, learn about fire safety and prevention, get your blood pressure checked and participate in a raffle.  But best of all, if you always dreamed of being a fire fighter as a kid you can actually sign up and join the team! For more information on our Volunteer Fire Department and to learn about the remarkable selfless service they provide to our community see HERE.

Repair Café: Also, today October 16th from 11 am to 3 pm the Repair Café is still on and will take place in the Dobbs Ferry Public Library as planned (see HERE).

Plant a Tree:  Today, October 16th anytime from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm you can plant a tree on Farragut Parkway as part of our DEC funded Trees for Tribs project (see HERE).  This is sponsored by our Conservation Commission, which is currently looking for more volunteer members, please contact conservationcommission@hastingsgov.org if you’re interested in joining.

Hastings Pollinator Pathway Fall Fest: was going to be today in Fulton Park but has been postponed till tomorrow October 17th, from 4 to 6 pm in the same location (see HERE). There is also a free seed and plant swap, which is part of the Festival (see HERE).

Welcome Back Saturday: with the Joel Arnow Trio (see HERE) was going to be tonight at the VFW Plaza on Warburton Avenue, but it looks like it will be pouring with rain so this event has been postponed – we will keep you posted about when it will be rescheduled.
