Municipal Solid Waste
Trash generated in Hastings is incinerated at the Wheelabrator waste-to-energy plant in Peekskill. The Village aims to keep as much material out of the incinerator as possible and send it on to better use. Recycle, compost, reuse! And please be mindful to dispose of hazardous household wastes responsibly.
