Volunteer at the Afya Warehouse this summer!!

This email is being sent to the mailing list for informational purposes as it represents an issue of potentially broad interest to the community.
Dear Afya Family,
Our community has faced an onslaught of crises this winter and spring. Afya has done everything possible to ensure that our frontline workers in New York are protected with masks, gloves, gowns, and other PPE.
We have been able to deliver this vital PPE throughout the COVID-19 crisis with the help of dozens of professionals, nurses, and long-time volunteers sorting material in the Afya Warehouse while abiding by strict health protocols.
We are proud to begin offering in-person volunteering opportunities starting on July 6th! Sign-ups are officially open to anyone who wishes to join us in the Afya Warehouse in Yonkers. For those who are not ready to come to the warehouse, we have opportunities for you to volunteer from home, as well!
We look forward to reconnecting and having some fun together this summer!
