Farragut Ave Paving and Safety Improvement Project Update
JULY 11,2022
Work continues on schedule on the County paving and safety improvement project on Farragut Avenue. New curbs, ADA ramps, and replacement of catch basin castings is well underway and the contractor has proceeded from The Fenway northwest on Farragut Ave. Crews are currently working in the area of the High and Middle schools and proceeding southeast back toward the SMRP.
The photos below show construction of ADA ramps and landing pads in and around the school.
The two photos above show curb and ADA compliant landing pads almost complete at Mt. Hope and Farragut.
The photo above shows the form and base layer of material before the concrete is poured for the landing pad at Farragut and Hillside.
