Commuter Stairs Restoration Project Update #3 - August 8, 2022
As you know due to a generous grant from New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins renovations to the Commuter Stairs that run from the Steinschneider Parking Lot to Southside Ave. are underway. The project is now complete except for some final clean up.
In this photo you can see that the old railing has been removed and the new level concrete landing pad has been poured using low carbon concrete.
Here we see the contractors pouring the new low carbon concrete stair that will provide passage from the main stairs into the Con Ed parking lot.
The two photos above show new steps and the level blacktop landing pad.
