FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Southern Westchester.
* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Prolonged rainfall will occur today into tonight, and may be heavy at times. A total of 2.5 to 3.5 inches of rain is forecast with locally higher amounts possible. There is an increasing potential for flooding, which could linger into early Sunday morning for some area rivers and streams. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
 
WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 2 AM EDT SUNDAY
* WHAT...Southeast winds becoming northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.
* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 AM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
