Metro North Trains 
Whether you are headed out of town for the long July 4 weekend or traveling into New York City to see the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, we have you covered!
 •    On Friday, July 2, Metro-North will operate its current weekday schedule on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines, with additional train cars added to select trains during the evening outbound rush.
•    On Saturday, July 3, Metro-North will operate its current Saturday schedule.
•    On Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5, we will operate a Sunday schedule.

North End access to Grand Central Terminal will be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Off-peak fares are currently in effect on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Masks are required inside all Metro-North stations, at Grand Central Terminal, and on board trains.

Monday, July 5th, Bee-Line buses and Paratransit will operate on a SATURDAY schedule.

Historic Hudson River Towns

Celebrating the Fourth in the Historic Hudson River Towns is full of good times and alight with fireworks! The fun starts on July 2 in Haverstraw’s Bowline Point at 7 pm with live music and a fireworks display. Then comes Yonkers Summer Fest in the Cross County Shopping Center on July 3 with the FDR Drive band, followed by fireworks. Also, on July 3 in Ossining, there will be music by the John Bates band starting at 7:30 pm in Louis Engle Waterfront Park and fireworks at 9:15. On July 4, Peekskill will have an Independence Day parade and fireworks at 9 pm in Riverfront Green Park. Sleepy Hollow will hold a fireworks display that can be seen from Horans Park, Barnhart Park, Devries Park and Kingsland Point Park. Tarrytown’s Pierson Park will be the scene for a 7pm concert in Pierson Park, followed by fireworks. Yonkers plans a celebration on the Fourth at Yonkers Historic Pier with DJ music starting at 7pm, followed by fireworks over the Hudson. Irvington will put on a fireworks show in Matthiessen Park, park permits required.
