VEOLIA WATER: Crews will be begin their annual flushing of fire hydrants in our area sometime in April between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Notifications of what areas and streets will be sent out when Veolia notifies the Village.

In April of 2024 VEOLIA WATER will begin their annual flushing fire hydrants and blowoffs in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson will send out notification of the streets and areas as soon as the information is passed on to us.
At this time flushing is occurring in Dobbs Ferry and Ardsley.
Please remember that when the flushing occurs in your area the following may happen:
A temporary slight discoloration of the water and a decrease in water pressure may be noted as a result of opening the hydrants. If you experience this discoloration of water, please run your cold water in a basement sink for 15 - 20 minutes. This should clear your problem. Please make sure during this flushing period that you check your cold water for discoloration. If the water is discolored, please flush your line as mentioned above before attempting to do any laundry.
VEOLIA Water crews will carry out this task between 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Our workers have company identification cards for your security.
