The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson has just been notified that Metro-North will begin work to upgrade the signals and electric service to the rails in the Hastings area. Starting tonight Wednesday, October 17, crews will be working for approximately the next 10 weekday nights on the upgrades. It is estimated that work crews will begin at 9 PM and will continue until 6 AM. Metro North states this is a rough duration estimate. Weather and other obstacles encountered may extend the time of the project.
