Futurist and local resident Doug Rushkoff will join us on March 2th at 7:30 pm to discuss his new book, The Survival of the Richest. Rushcoff will explain the technosolutionist “mindset” driving humanity toward is inevitable extinction, and how this fate went from being a fear to the goal of the tech elite (see HERE).  Doug is always a delight and totally fascinating to interact with!

A Gift From the New York Comptroller – Unclaimed Funds
As part of a recent New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM) event in Albany, I had the opportunity to meet with State Comptroller DiNapoli. As he always does whenever he meets municipal officials, he reminded us to remind all of you to check for unclaimed funds (see HERE). Try searching with just your surname (so you can track down old addresses) and note that businesses and other organizations can also look for funds. I know the website looks super dubious but it is legit and perhaps there’s an extra gift in his stash of unclaimed cash for some of you!

My best,

Nicola Armacost
