Important April 2, 2024 Presidential Primary Election Information

Presidential Primary Election Day is April 2nd!

The Village Clerk’s Office wants to remind you of the following important dates:

Presidential Primary Election: Tuesday, April 2, 2024

Early Voting: March 23 – March 30

The Hastings Public Library is an Early Voting Polling Site:

Saturday, March 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, March 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Monday, March 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, March 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Friday, March 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Please use the DOWNSTAIRS ENTRANCE—some voting hours will be before or after normal library hours.

Voter Registration Deadlines:

Mar. 23, 2024 is the last day voter registration application for the General Election MUST be received at Westchester County Board of Elections.
Mar. 23, 2024 is the last day to register in person to be eligible for the General Election.

Voter Registration:

Register in-person at the Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601.
Visit the Westchester County Board of Elections website HERE for forms and information.
Drop-off your registration at the DMV or CLICK HERE to use the DMV Electronic Voter Registration Application.
Visit the NYS Voter Registration webpage to complete or download a voter registration form.
Complete a Voter Registration form Request through New York State Board of Elections.
Call 1-800-FOR-VOTE (1-800-367-8683) to request a voter application.

Absentee Ballot Information:

Put it in the mail ensuring it receives a postmark no later than April 2nd.
Bringing it to the Westchester County Board of Elections Office no later than April 2nd by 9 pm.
Bringing it to an early voting poll site in Westchester County between March 23rd and March 30th.
