Adopt-a-Spot Adoptable Locations
You can adopt almost any public Spot in Hastings that is not already adopted.

Spot locations can include:
Traffic Islands or roadsides. For example: along Mt Hope Boulevard or Farragut Avenue
Parks & Pocket Parks
- There are several parks in Hastings and all can use a helping hand. If you would like to adopt a section, please apply!
- You can also join a group like the Hastings Vine Squad, the Hillside Woods Restoration Project or Hastings' Beautification Committee
Spots along the Saw Mill River / South County Trailway
- Seven established pollinator gardens can always use help (managed by Steve Pucillo)—or create your own
- You can also volunteer to maintain a Spot along the Saw Mill by removing litter and/or invasive vines (contact: vinesquad@hastingsgov.org)
