TILI Open this Saturday, 12-2pm
The TILI (Take It or Leave It) Garage is a volunteer-led initiative that accepts items you don't want to keep and makes them available, free, to those who do. It is designed to reduce waste and promote a sharing economy, open Sundays 11-3. The TILI is run by Hastings' Zero Waste Advisory Taskforce (ZWAT), a subcommittee of Hastings' Conservation Commission. For more information on ZWAT, and for other ways you can reduce your waste, see the ZWAT website, or visit the Conservation Commission Municipal Solid Waste index page, which lists the following. N.B. for the holiday season: Please remember not to place wrapping paper with non-paper elements in recycling: paper with metallic bits, glitter, plastics, or heavily laminated wrapping paper should also be thrown away instead of recycled.
