After School Drop in at the Community Center
The Youth Advocate Program offers a safe and supportive after school program, where youth can work on building their self-esteem and socialization skills. The program offers a drop in recreational experience, homework assistance and occasional afterschool snacks.  Program staff also offer support and evidence-based interventions to the Hastings School district throughout the year aimed at prevention of youth substance misuse and other risky behaviors. Hastings Food Pantry
The Youth Advocate staff are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food pantry. Food is distributed to families in need every Wednesday from 8am-4pm. Donations can be dropped off to the lower level of the community center 9am-6pm Monday-Friday. Contact: hohfoodpantry@hastingsgov.org
 
Youth Employment Services (Y.E.S.)
Looking for someone to help with yard work or babysitting? Have a teen looking for their first job? Contact Jill Iturbe at IturbeJ@hohschools.org.
 
Safe Rides
A safe, responsible ride for TEENS every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm-1am. This service is offered from September through mid-July. Have questions? Need a ride? Call 914-478-2471.
 
Hastings WAY Coalition
The W.A.Y. Working Alliance for Youth is a group of committed citizens that includes all sectors of the Hastings-on-Hudson community including (but not limited to) youth, parents, educators, community members, the police department, local business owners and the faith community.
