Bond Resolutions Dated June 16, 2015

LEGAL NOTICE OF ADOPTION
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, Westchester County, New York, at a meeting held on June 16, 2015, duly adopted the resolutions published herewith, summaries of which are published herein, subject to a permissive referendum.
 
The resolutions provide that the faith and credit of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, Westchester County, New York, are irrevocably pledged for the payment of the principal of and interest on such obligations as the same respectively become due and payable; that an annual appropriation shall be made in each year sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on such obligations becoming due and payable in such year; that the power to authorize the issuance of and to sell bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of the bonds authorized by such resolutions, including renewals of such notes, is delegated to the Village Treasurer; that all other matters, except as provided in such resolutions, relating to the bonds authorized, including the date, denominations, maturities and interest payment dates, within the limitations prescribed in such resolutions and the manner of the execution of the same and also including the consolidation with other issues, and the authority to issue such obligations on the basis of substantially level or declining annual debt service, is delegated to and shall be determined by the Village Treasurer; and that this LEGAL NOTICE shall be published.
 
Summaries of the bond resolutions follow:
 
1. BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 16, 2015.
 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $125,000 BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO PAY THE COST OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE REYNOLDS FIELD PLAYGROUND IN AND FOR SAID VILLAGE.


The period of probable usefulness of the aforesaid class of objects or purposes is fifteen years, pursuant to subdivision nineteen of paragraph~a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law.

2. BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 16, 2015.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $633,000 BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO PAY THE COST OF THE PURCHASE OF A FIRE PUMPER TRUCK FOR SAID VILLAGE.
 
The period of probable usefulness of the aforesaid specific object or purpose is twenty years, pursuant to subdivision twenty-seven of paragraph~a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law.


3. BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 16, 2015.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $388,500 BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO PAY THE COST OF THE ACQUISITION OF VEHICLES FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE PURPOSES IN AND FOR SAID VILLAGE.
 
The period of probable usefulness of the aforesaid class of objects or purposes is fifteen years, pursuant to subdivision twenty-eight of paragraph~a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law.
 
4. BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 16, 2015.


A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $65,000 BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO PAY THE COST OF THE PARTIAL RECONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE HALL EXTERIOR COLUMNS IN AND FOR SAID VILLAGE.

The period of probable usefulness of the aforesaid specific object or purpose is twenty-five years, pursuant to subdivision twelve of paragraph~a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law.


5.  BOND RESOLUTION DATED JUNE 16, 2015.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $103,000 BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO PAY THE VILLAGE’S PORTION OF THE COST OF FENCING AT THE WARBURTON BRIDGE AS PART OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE WARBURTON BRIDGE BY THE COUNTY OF WESTCHESTER IN AND FOR SAID VILLAGE.
 
The period of probable usefulness of the aforesaid specific object or purpose is twenty years, pursuant to subdivision ten of paragraph~a of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law.
