Update on Hillside Water Tank Rehabilitation Project
April 13, 2024

Dear Residents,

Work on the water tank is proceeding.

As I mentioned in my previous update, sandblasting on the interior of the tank exposed some areas of concern regarding the tank's roof structure. Structural repairs to address these areas have been completed. In addition, all welding work on the tank has been completed.

Veolia is currently applying the final coating of paint to the interior of the tank, and they are on track to complete the project by the end of May. All work is weather-dependent.

Important Reminder: For safety reasons, access to the school via the Chemka lot and pathway is unavailable. Signs are posted throughout the area to notify residents and students about the closure.  All persons should avoid the area where the work is being conducted throughout the entire rehabilitation period.

I will keep you posted as the work progresses.

Thank you for your cooperation during this important project.

Very truly yours,
