Traffic Advisory:2016 Memorial Day Parade will be held on Sunday May 29, 2016 and will commence at 2PM

TRAFFIC  ADVISORY

The 2016 Memorial Day Parade will be held on Sunday May 29, 2016 and will commence at 2PM.  The parade will begin on Chauncy Lane and cross over the five corner intersection to Main St. Marchers will proceed down Main St to Warburton Avenue North bound where they will pass our great VFW Hall and continue on Warburton Avenue to North St. The Parade will continue on North St to Maple Avenue and will end on Southside Ave near the train Station.
 
Due to the route of the Memorial Day parade the following parking restrictions and road closures will take place.
 
From 1PM until approximately 2:30 PM no vehicular traffic will be allowed to travel on Farlane Drive. It is important to remember that Chemka Pool will be open during this time and residents who wish to use the pool should make appropriate travel plans using alternate routes. In addition, from 1PM until approximately 2:30 PM with the exception of local residents who live in the area no vehicular traffic will be allowed to travel on South Drive, South Calumet, or Croton Avenue. Residents who reside on these streets will be able to enter / exit via Villard Avenue. Furthermore, from 1PM until approximately 4 PM no vehicular traffic will be allowed to travel on the following streets: Main St and on Warburton Avenue from Main Street to Villard Avenue.
 
There will also be the following parking restrictions in place on Sunday, May 29th, 2016.
 
From 12pm-4pm No Parking Allowed on Main St, Spring St, North St and Warburton Ave between Main Street and North St.
 
From 12pm-4pm No Parking in the Chase Bank
From 12pm-3pm No Parking on Chauncey Lane.
 
Please be advised the Hastings on Hudson Police Department will make every effort to reopen the mention closed roadways as soon as possible.
