Join Hastings WAY for a free virtual presentation: Adolescents, Sports Betting, & Gaming: How much is too much? Wednesday, March 6 - 7 PM

All parents and adult community members are invited to join Hastings W.A.Y. for a presentation by Dr. Marc Potenza, Professor of Psychiatry, Child Study, and Neuroscience at the Yale University School of Medicine. 

 

While many teens are involved with online gaming and sports betting, parents and caregivers are often unaware of the potential dangers. With the NCAA "March Madness" tournament just around the corner, this is an important time for caring adults to learn more about the scope of teen online gaming and sports betting, and its impact on the mental and behavioral health of our young people. Dr. Potenza will share warning signs of harmful involvement for youth, and tips for how to engage in conversations about this topic with your teen.
