NYSDOT SCHEDULES PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING FOR RAVENSDALE ROAD OVER SAW MILL RIVER PARKWAY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
October 1st Meeting to Highlight Project in Westchester County
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will host a Public Information Meeting about the proposed Ravensdale Road Bridge replacement project in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, Town of Greenburgh, Westchester County.
The meeting will be held Monday, October 1, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main Street, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Department of Transportation representatives will present project information and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide comments. Department personnel will be available between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. to answer questions or discuss any concerns that individuals have about the project. A presentation will be made at 6:30 p.m.
The $14 Million project is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2019; the preferred alternative is to replace the existing two span bridge with a single span bridge on existing location, utilizing offsite detours to allow the construction to be completed as quickly as possible.
For further information regarding this project or to submit written comments please contact Paul Tirums, NYSDOT Regional Structures Engineer, 4 Burnett Boulevard, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603, or call (845) 431-7915.
