Resident Commuter Parking Options

Please note: the following streets are in the unincorporated portion of Greenburgh and therefore NOT eligible for a parking sticker: Clarewood Drive, Pond Lane, Oakcrest Lane, Heath Place, Donald Drive, Hastings Close, Mendham Ave., Edith’s Way, Old Jackson Ave., and Jackson Ave.
 
 
Option #1 - Annual parking permit in the Zinsser Commuter Parking Lot across the street from the train station.
  • The cost of a 2024 permit is $525.00.
  •  Permits are sold first-come, first-served in November. 
  •  A waiting list is automatically generated with applicants not able to purchase a parking permit. 
  • You may only park in the Yellow Spaces in the Zinsser Commuter Lot

Option #2 -Resident Virtual Parking Sticker
  • Resident parking stickers are now virtual – a physical sticker will no longer need to be displayed on the vehicle. 
  • The fee is $10.00 and requires annual renewal. The application is online only.
  • Allows parking at metered (WHITE) spaces in the Zinsser lot and/or the Con Edison lot located next to Maud's Tavern.  When parking in a metered (WHITE) space with a resident parking sticker it is still necessary to pay at the pay station. All white spots are pay-by-license plate.  
  • All vehicles are required to be registered to a valid address in the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson.
  • The meters in both of those lots are 12-hour meters and cost $6.00 for those 12 hours (at a rate of $0.50 per hour).  There are Pay Stations in both lots which take cash or credit card.  You can also pay by phone using the ParkMobile app.
  • Metered parking in these two commuter lots are enforced Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Option #3 – Daily parking spaces located in the last 25 spaces on the east side of River Street Lot  (closest to Harvest-on-Hudson restaurant).
  • These spaces are available daily on a first-come, first served basis, and do not require any permit or sticker.  
  • Payment is made through cash or credit card at a pay station located just before the entrance to the southbound train platform.  
  • Parking rates are as follows:
    • Daily - $7.00 per 16 Hours;
    • 24-hours - $10.00 per day.
In both Zinsser and River Street lots, commuters can also pay for parking with their cell phone using ParkMobile’s mobile applications for smart phones. Register for free where you can download a mobile app. There is a daily transaction fee of $0.45 - $0.55 cents depending on your payment method. 
 
Option #4 - Annual parking permit in the River Street Lot.
  • The cost of a 2024 permit is $570.00 per year and are sold on a first come, first-served basis in November.
