Dear Resident / Business Owner,
The resurfacing project of Warburton Avenue from Broadway to the City of Yonkers boarder has begun and the first phase of the project (tree trimming / tree removal) is scheduled to be completed on Monday, September 10, 2018. The next phase of the project (sidewalk / curbing repair) will begin immediately following the completion of phase one.
This phase will begin at the northern end of Warburton Avenue and proceed south to the City of Yonkers borderline. Please know that this portion of the project will be completed in certain areas in need of repair and in areas which require compliance to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
As a result, there will be parking restrictions in place in certain areas on Warburton Avenue. The times of the restrictions are from 7 AM to 5PM and the restricted parking date / area of Warburton Avenue will be determined by the contractor and where the work will be conducted.
The no parking signs will be posted by the contractor and should be read carefully. If any confusion should arise please contact the Hastings Police Department at 478-2344 and a police officer will assist in clarifying the information.
More information regarding the other phases of this project will be sent out later when the information becomes available. The contractor is scheduled to complete all aspects of this project by April 2019.
