Main St. and Warburton Ave. Paving Project October 1, 2022 Update
The Contractor has been performing cleanup, restoration, and tree planting on Main and Warburton where the new sidewalks have been poured and addressing other concerns of storefront and building owners.
Next week some additional sidewalk installation will follow. The Village was fortunate that the original scope of project came in under budget and additional funds were procured from the CDBG grant program. Given this, we will add additional new sidewalk and tree installation in the following areas:
560-564 Warburton (Sterling Bank)
Main St. east of Slices
On Monday and throughout the week it is anticipated that the contractor will be doing sidewalk demo and installation on Warburton after which they will move to Main St. Additionally, trees and pavers will be added to the already prepared tree pits.
Below are some photos of the areas to be added and the almost completed work.
The photo above is of Warburton in front of the former Sterling Bank building where the tree is badly girdled, and the sidewalk buckled
