REMINDER: Food Scrap Drop Back in Action! Zinsser Lot this Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm & Mobile Shredder from 10am to 1pm Zinsser commuter parking lot

Dear Hastings Resident,

Thanks to the unswerving support of the Hastings Farmer's Market and some fast action by our village manager and DPW, Hastings' Food Scrap Drop is back in action.

You can now drop your compostable scraps at the Zinsser Commuter Lot (click for more info) Saturdays during Farmer's Market hours (8:30a-1:30p). Easy, drive-up drop. Winter hours TBD.

If you already collect food scraps, invite your friends and neighbors to join the team! We will have a limited number of $20 tote kit systems for sale this Saturday, which makes food scrap collecting easy-peasy. You can also purchase a kit through Greenburgh Parks & Rec at Anthony F. Veteran Park (click for directions) 10a-4p weekdays.

Please contact us at conservationcommission@hastingsgov.org if you have any questions or suggestions.

Sincerely,
Hastings-on-Hudson's Conservation Commission
