HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department is currently tracking a wild coyote that maybe rabid and attacked two people and their dogs this evening. One incident occurred on Kent Ave. The second occured in Hillside Woods. The injured parties were taken to the hospital.
Until Further Notice
1. Stay out of all wooded areas in particular Hillside Woods.
2. Keep your pets inside if possible or monitor their activities outside.
3. If you do see a coyote call Hastings Police at 914 478-2344
This animal maybe rabid so stay away from it.
THE NYSDEC are sending officers to area to help track and capture the coyote.
