Climate Smart Communities Task Force Meeting Agenda
 
 
 

The meeting will be conducted in accordance with Executive Order 202.1.  As such, the meeting will be held virtually via videoconference using the ZOOM platform there will be no public participation in-person; however, all public comments will be heard via email at climatesmart@hastingsgov.org.  For more information on videoconferencing and how to connect, please go to the Village website at www.hastingsgov.org/zoomcsc.

 

Agenda:

  1. Minutes (approval; notetaker this month)
  2. Objective: Goal to propose actions with most impact to reduce GHGs
  3. Discuss Subcommittee Process: Transportation, Buildings, Adaptation
  4. ICLEI Template: Review and discussion 
  • Buildings -  e.g. Commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Energy Production, Waste, Composting & Recycling, Water and Waste Water Management (currently pps 29, 32, 35, 39, 42)
  • Transportation - Transportation & Land Use - e.g. pps 45
  • Adaptation - Climate Adaptation - e.g., pps 51-78, (note that we have already done Anticipated Climate Projections and Climate Hazard Vulnerability Assessment as part of our Climate Vulnerability Report (2020) so we can probably just cut and paste that in).
