Food Scrap Tote Kit

You can purchase the handy-dandy Food Scrap Tote Kit from Hastings' Park & Rec office at the James Harmon Community Center, 44 Main Street, or at Greenburgh's Parks and Rec office at Anthony F. Veteran Park. Thanks to Michelle Sterling and Ron Schulhof of Scarsdale's Conservation Advisory Council for creating and sourcing this helpful system!

The kit comes with the two containers below, plus a roll of compostable bag liners. 

Kit (both pails plus one roll of compostable liners for countertop pail): $20
Countertop pail only (includes 25 liners): $8
Medium bin with carrying handle only: $13
Additional compostable liners for countertop pail (25 liners): $2
Compostable liners for medium bin (25 liners): $5

Food Scrap Tote Kit

These items are purchased in bulk and sold at cost as a service to the composting public.

Note: you are not required to use bin liners; you can deposit your scraps into the collection site loose, if you prefer. You can also use any containers you wish to collect and transport your scraps.
