Fellow Residents;
This Friday, starting at 5PM, the downtown will be alive for our latest Friday Night Live. The weather will be gorgeous and the streets alive with activity. If you haven't been to a Friday Night Live event, this is the perfect time to come on out and see what this is all about.
With Warburton closed to traffic, the streets will be alive with performances, dancing, circus acts, and short films. Plus, Hastings Spring Thing 2010: Art and Crafts Festival is being held in conjunction with Friday Night Live with something for everyone; crafts, kid’s activities, food, live music and entertainment. There will be live music from Milton (they're so good!), Julia Joseph (lovely voice!), Matt Turk & Friends (always popular), and the Take Me to the River Children's Community Chorus (simply charming). Bring friends and/or family, and enjoy what is going to be a great night. Hang out, visit the stores open late for you, eat at any of our excellent restaurants, and enjoy. You'll be startled at how totally charming and fun it is downtown, and you'll be shaking your head at how well-organized and thoughtful this event is. This is as good as Hasting gets, so don't blow it by forgetting to come out. I know that sometimes at the end of the week, people can get tired and want to curl up and recover. But come out instead. It's going to be a remarkable evening and you will be telling your non-resident friends the next day that you really do live in the neatest village around,
