School Budget and Board Elections
Dear Residents -

We have a School Board Trustee election and School Budget vote this Tuesday, May 18th.  You can vote at the High School between 7AM and 9PM. .

Election-related signage is everywhere, and many people are engaged in the election issues.   A gentle reminder that we all will awake on Wednesday morning and need to co-exist in our two square miles.  This election is passionately felt by many - but passion and sentiment should never supercede civility and mutual respect.   Posters, leaflets, lawn signs, ribbons and billboards are all flavors of political expression and should be respected as such.  No matter how you feel on the issues in contention or which side you might be on during this election, please leave the signs and other election-related artifacts in place until the election is over at 9PM on Tuesday night.  (However, please refrain from posting in public parks or private property other than your own.)

Once the election is over, we hope that the various parties will remove the leaflets, posters, ribbons, and other signage promptly from public property. Regardless of how the election or budget vote turns, we will all be neighbors as we are today.  Nothing changes that.
