Dear Resident,
From Wednesday, May 17, 2017 through Tuesday, May 23, 2017 Cold Iron Pictures will be in our village filming for a movie titled “You Can Choose Your Family”.
All the filming will take place on Euclid Avenue and the schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 7 AM to 8 PM exterior scenes on Euclid Avenue
- Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 7 AM to 8 PM interior scenes (private home)
- Friday, May 19, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 10 PM interior scenes (private home)
- Saturday, May 20, 2017- off / no filming
- Sunday, May 21, 2017-off / no filming
- Monday, May 22, 2017 – from 7 AM to 8 PM exterior scenes on Euclid Avenue
- Tuesday, May 23, 2017- from 7 AM to 8 PM interior scenes (private home)
- Crews will arrive on Euclid Avenue at 7 AM each day and the filming will last through 8 PM.
The movie crew will establish a base camp at Mercy College located in Dobbs Ferry and this is where the crew will park their vehicles and most of their trucks. Some trucks will be parked on Euclid Avenue and these trucks will arrive at approximately 7 AM.
The following parking restrictions will be in effect:
Parking Restrictions:
- No Parking 6 AM to 8PM on May 17, 18, 19, 22, & 23 2017 on Euclid Avenue in front of the following house numbers:
- 62, 66, 70, 73, 77, 96, 100, and 106 (See attached map)
- In front of the Tennis Courts on Euclid Avenue. (See attached map)
Intermittent Road Closures:
- On May 17, 2017 From 9AM to 8PM Euclid Avenue will be closed periodically while filming is being conducted.
- On May 22, 2017 From 7AM to 8PM Euclid Avenue will be closed periodically while filming is being conducted.
Please be advised in the event of inclement weather, the schedule for Monday May 22, 2017 and Tuesday May 23, 2017 will be reversed.
In addition, the Fire House on Euclid Avenue will remain open and in the event of an emergency Engine 46 will have priority over the roadway.
Hastings police officers will be posted at various locations throughout this process and they will make every effort possible to accommodate residents.
