The Youth Advocate Program is located on the lower level of the James V. Harmon Community Center.
Program hours are Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, and Saturday from 12pm-7pm. Program hours are subject to change.
Safe Rides operates during the school calendar year and is not be available in July and August.
Come hang out with the Youth Advocate Program…the Community Center is a great place to meet up with friends or make new ones, shoot a game of pool, use computers, watch a movie, play a video game or get help with homework.
Special programs and activities are hosted throughout the year and are announced by mail, email, flyers and/or WHoH-TV, Channel 75. Some of these activities are; movies, Pool Yap, Friday Night YAP, homework help, game tournaments, school vacation activities, field trips and more. All activities are supervised by Youth Advocate Staff.
The Youth Advocate Program offers various supports to families in need. These supports range from individual/family counseling to financial assistance. If you know a family that is in need or are interested in offering help please contact JoAnn or Donny.
High School students looking for a job? Please contact Jill Iturbe, Director Youth Employment Services at (914) 478-6266 or by email at iturbej@hastings.k12.ny.us. YES program office hours Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 3 during the school year, the office is located in Hastings High School. Also, contact Ms. Iturbe if you have a position that you need to fill.
