To provide comprehensive year-round opportunities for recreation and use of physical resources which are accessible to and respond to the articulated needs and desires of all residents of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson with an emphasis on educating citizens on the value of learning and practicing lifetime leisure skills and appreciations and serving as a catalyst and facilitator for the provision of recreation programs by other organizations in the community.
