LANE CLOSURE
BRIDGE REHABILITATION


On Monday May 12, 2014 and continuing until December 1, 2015 the northbound lane of Warburton Avenue Bridge over Cropsey Lane will be closed to motorists. A detour will be posted using Washington Avenue and Broadway (US9) on Monday, May 12, 2014. This northbound closure will continue until December 1, 2015.

The southbound direction of Warburton will remain open during the duration of the bridge rehabilitation project.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL ACTIVATION

In anticipation of the detour of northbound traffic for the Warburton Avenue Bridge rehabilitation project over Cropsey Lane to begin on Monday, May 12, 2014 a temporary traffic signal has been activated at the intersection of Broadway and Washington Avenue.


OTHER CHANGES

PARKING FOR RESIDENTS AT NIGHT WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FOLLOWING LOTS
BOULANGER PLAZA LOT
STEINSCHNEIDER PARKING LOT
POST OFFICE LOT
Alternate rules will be suspended in these lots


The northbound Bee Line routes will be detoured around the bridge and local stops at Spring Street and Warburton Avenue. Signs will be posted along the route with where the buses will stop in the Village of Hastings.
The southbound direction will remain open for the duration of the project. One sidewalk will be maintained throughout construction.

Motorists, who travel north and south from Yonkers through Dobbs Ferry advised to seek alternate routes. Numerous variable message signs are being used to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.
