Due to snow plowing operations the Garbage pick-up scheduled for Wednesday (due to the Monday holiday) has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2014.
Paper Recycling scheduled for Thursday has been Cancelled and will resume next Thursday January 30, 2014
Friday's Commingling pick-up will take place as scheduled on Friday January 24, 2014
REMINDER TO ALL RESIDENTS:
It is the responsibility of all home/business owners to have sidewalks in front of their property free and clear of snow and ice within 12 hours of the ending of the winter event. When sidewalks are not clear, pedestrians are forced to walk in the roadway, making the situation all the more hazardous. it is the responsibility of all home/business owners to do the same. The Hastings on Hudson Police Department will be forced to issue summons if this law is not followed!!!
Please do not blow or shovel snow onto other people's property or onto their parked cars.
Do not shovel or blow snow onto the streets.
Whenever possible please park your vehicles off of streets to allow for better plowing.
If you live near a Fire Hydrant please shovel it out in case of emergencies
