To: All residents, particularly those of Washington Ave and Warburton Ave
Due to the impending snowstorm, several parking restrictions will be in place from Thursday morning, January 2nd, 2014 at 9am until Friday morning, January 3rd, 2014 at 9am.
There will be NO PARKING on east side of Warburton Ave between Washington Ave and Main Street.
There will be NO Parking on the north side of Washington Ave between Southside Ave and Broadway.
By complying with these restrictions the DPW will be able to clear the snow much quicker and open up both areas for parking by Friday morning.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
The Hastings Department of Public Works asks whenever possible that cars be parked of streets to allow for better street blowing and when shoveling please do not shovel snow in to roadways.
The Hastings Fire Department asks the if at all possible that residents clear Hydrants of snow near their homes.

10 BELOW ZERO.
* VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES LATE
THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
* TIMING...THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.
* IMPACTS...THE ACCUMULATING SNOW...ALONG WITH CONSIDERABLE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...WOULD PRODUCE DANGEROUS TRAVEL
