COMMUNITY WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS WARBURTON AVENUE PARK IMPROVEMENTS
THURSDAY, APRIL 7, 7:00 – 9:00 AT THE JAMES HARMON COMMUNITY CENTER (LOWER LEVEL)
- VESTPOCKET PARK (across from Antoinette’s Patisserie)
- WAGNER PARK (at the corner of Warburton Avenue and Broadway)
- RIVERVIEW PARK (lower Warburton Avenue)
The Village is applying for grants to improve the public spaces on Warburton Avenue and you are cordially invited to a public workshop to discuss the proposed changes. We think that these parks can be designed and programmed to serve their neighborhoods’ needs more effectively. Please come to a brainstorming session regarding physical improvements (such as landscaping, community gardens, bus shelters or other structures, tree trimming, etc.) and programming ideas (such as dog runs, outdoor performances, game areas and other activities) in the three parks.
