Saturday, April 2nd at 3pm the Hastings-on-Hudson library
On Saturday, April 2nd at 3pm the Hastings-on-Hudson library will present a FREE concert of Baseball songs from the 1800s through the turn of the century. Jerry Silverman, folksinger and musicologist extraordinaire has gathered together an amazing collection of baseball songs from 1867 to 1922 in his critically acclaimed “Baseball Songbook.” Jerry will sing many of these in the Orr room at the library. Lyrics to many of the songs will be handed out for a sing along.
Bring the whole family. It’s the library’s way of celebrating the week of Opening Day.
