The Hastings Youth Council is looking for volunteers… Hastings KIDS (Kids Involved Doing Service) is a youth advocate sponsored group of middle school and high school teens who are involved in a variety of service activities. These include a summer mentoring program, a monthly inter-generational community meal, and Laundry and Learning, to name a few. Laundry and Learning, a reading enrichment program at the Hastings Laundromat, takes place on Sundays from 11:30am-1pm. We are looking for teens to join Hastings KIDS
and volunteer for Laundry and Learning. The books to read to the children and the chairs are provided, the teens just have to show up and be willing to read with a younger child.
