The Hastings Public Library will be open this morning. It is anticipated that there will be a 12 noon closing. There will be no "Let's Pretend" or "Out of the Book" programs.

The Embassy Club in Dobbs Ferry is closed today and the senior van will not be running.
Due to snow storm operations the Hastings-on-Hudson Department of Public Works will not be picking up Garbage Today, February 1, 2011.
Tuesday's Garbage will be picked up Thursday, February 3, 2011
Thursday's Recycling will be picked up Friday, February 4, 2011
Friday's Recycling will not be picked up until Friday, February 11, 2011
Due to the inclement weather, all Hastings-on-Hudson schools today, Tuesday, February 1, WILL BE CLOSED. All after-school including, Recreation Department after-school programs and evening activities are canceled as well.

THE HASTINGS FIRE DEPARTMENT ASKES WHENEVER POSSIBLE TO SHOVEL OUT HYDRANTS NEAR YOUR HOMES INCASE OF FIRE.

Individual homeowners must contact Con Edison at 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633) or online http://www.coned.com/sm/default.asp and notify the Company of your home or business power outage.
Calling the Hastings Police Department or DPW will only delay restoration of electrical power to your home.
