The Hastings PTSA presents RACE TO NOWHERE

Come see the hard-hitting new education documentary, "Race to Nowhere," recently featured in the New York Times and the Rivertowns Enterprise.
"Race to Nowhere" challenges current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing citizens. Do we put too much stress on students? Are they learning to work independently, creatively and collaboratively? Following the film, please stay for a discussion moderated by parent and former Dateline NBC host Edie Magnus and featuring English professor Mike Mahony, social psychologist Steve Tuber and current and former students.
The event is free but it helps the PTSA if you sign up on line in advance.
