COME SEE THE CURRENT EXHIBIT:
A Story of a Village:
Hastings in Maps from 1600 to the Present
In our current exhibit, we share a selection of 27 maps from our collection, showing the geographical history of our village from 1779 (“Sketch of the Road from Knightsbridge to White Plains”) to 2003 (“Trailways Map of Hastings-on-Hudson”). Highlights include a 1932 “Historical Map of the Westchester County” by Hastings cartographer John P. Davies and three maps from a 1889 insurance atlas of Greenburgh.
