Trees continue to drop leaves, and that gives us an opportunity to Leave ‘ em In Place. Whether you pay a lawn care service or do it yourself, the easy and cost-saving answer is to use a lawn mover to shred them and leave them to fertilize your lawn and flower beds.
The benefits include keeping leaves out of the street and storm drains and lowering Village’s cost of pickup and disposal. And of course, not transporting them reduces pollution.
