Message from the Hillside Nature Guides Program and Groundwork Hudson Valley:
Join us this Saturday, November 20, from 11-1 to clean up litter from the edges of the Saw Mill River.
Meet at the Lawrence Avenue Exit and look for us between the Parkway and 9A/Saw Mill River Rd, on the Trailway by Life. There is plenty of parking right there.
We'll provide garbage grabbers and garbage bags. And even some snacks.
Guaranteed: you will feel satisfied and accomplished cleaning up the world. Litter pollutes the Saw Mill and, ultimately, the Hudson River. Plastic bottles and bags are especially troublesome for wildlife. Speaking of which: Kids welcome!
