To consider Proposed Local Law No. 11 of 2010 Amending Chapter 101, Building Construction, of the Code of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson to Provide for an Alternate member of the Architectural Review Board as follows:
Section 1: Section 101-12 of the Code of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson (Creation of [Architectural] review board; membership; organization; terms of office; meetings) is hereby amended by adding the following new paragraph C to read as follows:
C. The Village Board shall appoint an alternate member of the Architectural Review Board to serve for a period of three years. The alternate member shall substitute for a member of the Architectural Review Board in the absence of a member or in the event that a member is unable to participate because of a conflict of interest. All provisions of this chapter relating to Architectural Review Board members eligibility, vacancy in office, and removal shall also apply to the alternate member.
Section 2: Paragraphs C through H of section 101-12 are redesignated paragraphs D through I.
Section 3: All ordinances, local laws, and parts thereof inconsistent with this local law are hereby repealed.
Section 4: This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the New York Secretary of State.
