TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS DUE TO FIRE DEPARMENT EVENTS
On Friday night September 24 from 7PM – 9PM there will be a block party on Main St at the Hook & Ladder Fire House. As a result Main St will be closed to traffic from the five corners to Whitman St. Additionally; there will be no parking allowed on Main St from Citibank to Whitman St. Please be advised these restrictions will be in effect from 6PM until approximately 10 PM. The Boulanger Plaza Parking Lot will be open to traffic.
On Saturday September 25, 2010 at 3PM there will be a large parade. The route of the parade will be as follows: Starting on Farragut Ave at Merrill Street the parade will proceed down Farragut to Main St to Warburton Avenue North to North St. The Parade will then proceed down Maple Avenue and end on River St. Please be advised from 1PM until the completion of this event there will be no parking allowed on Main Street or Warburton Avenue. In addition, Warburton Avenue and Main St will be closed to all traffic. We will make every effort to open the roadways as soon as possible.
