An AARP Driver Safety Program is being offered at Andrus-on-Hudson on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The course helps drivers refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques. AARP members and non-members may take the course. There are no tests.
The AARP Driver Safety Program course covers the following topics:
- Vision and hearing charges
- Effects of medication
- Reaction time changes
- Left turns and other right-of-way situations
- New laws and how they affect you
- Hazardous driving situations
Please note that lunch is not included. You may bring a bag lunch with you. A lunch break will be provided.
Please bring the following with you on Saturday:
Driver’s License
AARP Member Card (if member)
Ballpoint pen
The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members.
