"Hastings Harvest"
Friday, September 3 from 5pm - 8:30pm
Join us on Friday, September 3, for “Hastings Harvest” - where we'll celebrate our bounty of food related treasures found within our town! Boulanger plaza will be transformed into an open-air market with food from your favorite restaurants in town, the farmer's market, and more! Come dine at our huge family table, enjoy the music throughout the evening, and feast on everything Hastings has to offer - a true late summer party. Hastings' own Blues Mothers http://www.myspace.com/hastingsbluesmothers will be performing throughout the evening.
We will also be exploring sustainability with a look at foods, gardening practices, and more. Come and learn how to enjoy your food more and impact the environment less.
Finally, there will be several contests to participate in: Gardener's Contest, including prizes for Hastings' best tomatoes. Hint: Size may not matter... A raffle for a Weber grill - courtesy of Hastings Hardware, and so much more!
