Hastings Weekend 2010 July 16 to July 18, there are many activities planned. See below for what will be going on!
Friday, July 16:
Friday Night Live will be going on in the village downtown from 5:30 to 9 p.m. This month's theme is Midsummer Magic featuring "Vanishing" Vinny DePonto. For more information, please go to: http://www.rivertownsguide.com/fnl
Saturday, July 17:
On Saturday, the village will be hosting the 5th annual village-wide tag sale, with more than 50 homes participating throughout the village. The sale will go from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maps will be available at the community center, library, village hall, pool or online at http://www.hastingsrecreation.org
On Saturday night, join your friends and neighbors at the Chemka Pool at our Dive-In Movie Night. This event is FREE for pool members and $5/adult and $3/child for non-members. Bring a float to use in the main pool as you watch the movie. Weather permitting, Movie Night begins at 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 18:
On Sunday, the focus of the activities are at the Chemka Pool as we have the Senior Splash pool party, which goes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This party is FREE for all senior residents and will have a catered lunch by Slices, music and fun! The pool will be closed to the general public during this time. Bus transportation is available to the party by calling 478-2380 by Friday, July 16.
Sunday afternoon is the annual Family Fun Day at the Chemka Pool! Bring your family to the pool to enjoy activities such as the balloon toss, toy toss and more! This day is FREE for members and $5/adult and $3/child for non-members. This event goes from 1 to 4 p.m.
