Fellow residents -
This Friday, May 7th, come out and dance on the streets of downtown Hastings at our monthly Friday Night Live.
This (free!) event will feature dance instructors, performances, and great live music at the Hastings Station Cafe, VFW Plaza,
The schedule begins at 5PM at the Hastings Station Cafe with a series of (free!) dance lessons and demonstrations.
From 6-7PM, on Warburton Avenue (which will be closed) in front of the VFW, there will be (free!) tango, cha cha,
salsa and samba lessons
At 7PM, the fabulous Brazilian band Ginga Pura New York will get down to serious music in front of the VFW and
then take it indoors at the Community Center at 9PM. (Come at 7PM sharp to see it kick off in a special and fun way!)
(At the same time, there's hip hop for the teens in the Chase parking lot...)
The weather is going to be perfect, the music great, the street closed, and (did I mention?) all the events free!
Come out and join your fellow residents for some serious partying. What a great celebration of Spring and a guaranteed
good time. Visit the merchants, eat in one of our growing number of great restaurants, and have a blast.
