VILLAGE-WIDE CLEANUP DAYS
APRIL 24th and 25th 2010
Hastings will celebrate its annual Cleanup weekend, April 24th and 25th 2010.
Residents of Hastings take pride in the appearance of the village, but litter is clearly widespread and excessively abundant in our streets and sidewalks, parks and green spaces.
Cleanup Day 2009 was one of the most successful the village ever conducted. This year, as individuals and groups, supported by village departments and organizations, we can even do better by working together as a community in Cleanup program.
Here is what you can do to make Cleanup 2010 an outstanding success.
- Select any site to clean up.
- Consult village trail way map for ideas on selecting site; maps available at the Community Center
- E-mail loreilly@hastingsgov.org to indicate the area you select (to assure area coverage and to share the work).
- Trash bags are available at the James Harmon Community Center
- Contact friends and neighbors and encourage them to participate as individuals or as groups.
Pizza will be provided at the Community Center
On Saturday from Noon-2 PM
