APRIL UPDATE
All of the revised Draft Recommendations for the Comprehensive Plan are now posted on the Village website. These revised Draft Recommendations are a result of public input and discussion from public meetings held in the Spring of 2009 and revised through a series of meetings with the community this past fall and winter.
We thank the many volunteers who worked with us to review the Recommendations, and the community residents, village staff and board members who made the time to join us at our public meetings. Their expertise, comments and concern for our Village helped the committee refine and focus the Recommendations.
The Draft Comprehensive Plan, to be released in April/May, will be a more advanced document with text, graphics, maps, and more detailed recommendations.
Our planning consultant took the revised Recommendations and prepared a draft of the Comprehensive Plan. The committee has held two work sessions in March to review that draft of the Comprehensive Plan. The committee is meeting at noon on Sunday April 11 at the Community Center to continue their review. The committee will then post a final Draft Comprehensive Plan for the community to review. After that final Draft Plan is released, there will be a series of discussion sessions on the final Draft Plan, which will be held in May. Those dates will be posted shortly.
